Toy and collectibles display room owners

If you’ve built a display room for your toy, figure, or memorabilia collection, you know that heat and sunlight are quiet enemies. Over time, direct sun can fade paint and warp plastic, and even a few degrees of extra warmth can speed up that damage. You want a room that stays comfortable enough to sit and enjoy your collection, not just store it away.

The flat rate

One number, materials and labor together

Standard day
$2,400
Materials and labor, installed. Six days a week sit at this rate.
Joker day
Lower, every week
One day a week costs less. It moves weekly, revealed on the homepage.

For this room

Toy and collectibles display room owners

A display room is often chosen for its good natural light, which helps you see details but also brings in heat. That heat, combined with UV rays, can slowly ruin the colors and shapes of your collectibles. A stable, moderate room temperature protects the pieces you’ve spent years curating, and a mini split system gives you that control room by room without the noise or drafts of a window unit.

We install ductless mini splits that keep a display room at a steady temperature, with no hot spots or sudden swings. The unit can be mounted high on the wall or in a corner, out of the way, so it doesn’t compete with your shelving or display cases. You get cooling and dehumidification that’s gentle on plastics and paint, plus the ability to zone the room separately from the rest of the house.

Our flat rate of 2,400 dollars covers materials and labor for a standard install, and we only ask for a 400 dollar materials deposit to hold your day. The remaining balance is due when the work is finished. We run a Joker Day once a week at a lower price the exact price changes each week, and you can see it on our homepage. Our crew is licensed, and we’ll size the system based on a site visit, not a guess over the phone.

Common questions

What people ask us about this

Will a mini split really protect my collectibles from sun damage?

Yes, because it maintains a constant temperature and lowers humidity, which helps prevent warping and fading. The system won’t blast hot or cold air directly onto your display, so the environment stays stable and gentle on your pieces.

How do you know what size unit my display room needs?

We use a rule of thumb based on room size and layout, but we confirm the exact BTU needs during a free on site visit. We never promise a specific number before seeing the room and checking for windows, insulation, and sun exposure.

What is the Joker Day and how does pricing work?

One day each week is our Joker Day, priced lower than our standard flat rate of 2,400 dollars. The exact Joker price changes week to week and is posted on our homepage. To book any day, you put down a 400 dollar materials deposit, and the rest is due after we finish the install.

Will the installation disrupt my display room or my collection?

We work carefully around your shelves and displays. The install typically takes one day, and we place the indoor unit in a spot that doesn’t interfere with your layout. We’ll cover nearby items to keep dust and debris off your collectibles.

Do I need to do anything to maintain the system after it’s installed?

Just clean or replace the air filter every month or two a quick job you can do yourself. The outdoor unit needs basic clearance around it. We don’t require annual service contracts, but we’re available if you ever need help.
