What the electrician leaves ready
The electrician leaves a dedicated circuit. A disconnect sits near the outdoor unit location. Whip and conduit are in place before the crew arrives. The installer ties to what was left.
If those items are missing, that work is non standard. Non standard work is quoted before any work begins. Do not assume the installer will finish the electrician's work.
Get the three trades on one call
Get the GC, the electrician and the installer on one call before rough is closed. The electrician should not land conduit until the outdoor location is known. The GC runs the call.

Shops want the head off the work wall and the condenser off the apron. Lofts want the head on a framed knee wall, not on girts alone. Living ends want the penetration away from the entry elevation.
None of those paths get cut before the site walk. The electrician lands circuit and disconnect after the outdoor location is known. The GC calls that order on the coordination call.
Walkthrough items that make you look bad
Wrong disconnect wall shows. An unpatched penetration shows. A drain that dumps on the shop slab shows. Those get avoided on the coordination call and confirmed at the site walk.
