The number that goes in the bid
A standard single zone mini split install is $2,400 on weekdays, materials and labor. Paste that as one line item. A $400 materials deposit books the date. Balance is due on completion.
Weekend work is $2,600. One Joker Day each week is priced lower than the weekday rate. The day changes week to week and is revealed on the home page.
- $2,400 weekday, materials and labor

- $400 materials deposit to book
- Balance on completion
- Non standard quoted before work begins
What is standard and what gets quoted
Standard means indoor head, outdoor unit, line set, drain, and electrical hookup. Locations and routing are confirmed at the site walk. Equipment size is a rule of thumb confirmed on site. West glass and a hot attic push the size up.
A casita reads smaller than it loads; the size still gets confirmed on site. If the work is not standard, it is quoted before any work begins. Do not assume extras sit inside the $2,400.
Who pulls what
Jester Climate does not pull permits. Requirements vary by jurisdiction. We are not a permitting authority. Confirming permits is on the owner or the general contractor.
Electrical hookup is in standard only where a ready circuit exists as confirmed at the site walk. Panel work, new circuits, and added disconnects are non standard. Those items are quoted before any work begins.
Confirmed at the site walk
Line set length, circuit size, drain routing, penetration location, and equipment size are confirmed at the site walk. This exhibit does not set those values. If the walk changes the scope, the change is quoted before work begins.
Mark indoor and outdoor locations on the plans and on the walls. Have the superintendent on site for the walk. Field decisions beat a phone photo.
How the date gets set
Pick a date that fits your sequence. We confirm it. Changes are called out to you, not left for the super to discover.
Call (512) 297-7493 to set the date. Call the same number to set up repeat scheduling. Service area is Austin and the I-35 corridor. Weekend dates use the $2,600 figure.
What the site has to look like
The indoor wall is ready for the head. The outdoor pad or mounting surface is clear. The path from the truck to both locations is open. Other trades are out of the work area.
Finished surfaces you do not want cut are marked. Access to electrical and condensate termination is open. If the site is not ready, say so before the crew is sent.

Phases run in this order on a standard job. Site conditions change the pace, so nothing here is a timeline commitment. If something on site is different from the walk, you get told before it turns into cost.
$400 materials deposit books the date and buys the equipment for your job. Balance due on completion, on the visit the system runs.
$2,400 weekday. $2,600 Saturday or Sunday. One Joker day each week is priced under the weekday rate. The day moves week to week and it is shown on the home page, so if your schedule has slack you can aim at it.
Non standard work is quoted before any work begins. Nothing gets added to the number without you approving it first.

- Can I carry $2,400 on every single zone?
- Use $2,400 for a standard single zone mini split install on a weekday. Use $2,600 if that work falls on a weekend. Work that is not standard is quoted before work begins and does not sit inside those figures.
- Who is on the permit?
- Permit duty stays with the owner or the GC. Do not list permit pulling on our line item. We are not the party that files it.
- What if there is no circuit at the outdoor unit?
- Circuit size is confirmed at the site walk. Hookup of a ready circuit is standard. New circuits, panel work, and added disconnects are quoted before work begins.
- Can you land on the day drywall leaves?
- Name the date you need. Confirmation comes back on that date. If the date moves, you hear it from us. Call (512) 297-7493.
- What is Joker Day and can I bid it?
- One Joker Day each week is priced lower than the weekday rate. Which day it lands on changes week to week and is revealed on the home page. Do not write a Joker Day price into the subcontract. Check the home page and call (512) 297-7493.
