What the electrician leaves ready
The electrician runs a dedicated circuit to the outdoor unit location. A disconnect sits at that location. Whip and conduit are left with that disconnect. Circuit size is confirmed at the site walk.
Do not pull the circuit to a catalog guess. Indoor head location and outdoor location get set before wire is pulled. If those leave behinds are missing, the electrical portion is quoted before work begins.

What the coordination call covers
A coordination call between the GC, the electrician and the installer covers the dedicated circuit, the disconnect, whip and conduit, and where the penetration wants to be. Indoor head wall and outdoor unit location get agreed on that call. Drain routing is confirmed at the site walk.
Permit duty sits with the owner or the GC. Rules change by city and county. Jester Climate is not a permitting authority.
Where the penetration wants to be
The hole wants a direct path from the indoor head to the outdoor unit. Line set length is confirmed at the site walk. Drain routing is confirmed at the site walk. Equipment size is confirmed at the site walk.
The wall is cut after the site walk confirms the hole. A garage firewall, a finished exterior or a slab edge can move that hole. Mark the penetration after the GC, the electrician and the installer agree.
The number that goes in the bid
Standard single zone mini split installation is $2,400 on weekdays, materials and labor. It is $2,600 on weekends. A $400 materials deposit books the date. Balance is due on completion.

Garage load is not the floor plan
A converted garage reads smaller than it loads. West glass and a hot attic push the size up. A casita reads smaller than it loads too. The size gets confirmed on site.
Do not pick equipment off a floor plan. Insulation, air sealing and glass change the load. Sizing is a rule of thumb confirmed on site.
