The number that goes in the bid
A bid with a pending mechanical quote is incomplete. Write $2,400 for a weekday or $2,600 for a weekend. One Joker Day each week is priced lower than the weekday rate. That day changes week to week and is revealed on the home page.
Use the weekday figure unless the calendar is already a Saturday or Sunday. Non standard work is not in that figure. It is quoted before any work begins.
- $2,400 weekday, materials and labor
- $2,600 weekend
- Joker Day priced lower than weekday; see home page
- $400 materials deposit to book
What sits inside $2,400
The weekday number is materials and labor for a standard single zone mini split. That means one indoor head, one outdoor unit, interconnect, drain, and the electrical whip a standard job uses. Path and circuit are not assumed from the plans.
Anything outside a standard single zone is quoted before any work begins. Call (512) 297-7493 to set the site walk. Do not carry a guess in the bid.
One line on the estimate
Paste this: single zone mini split, weekday std install, $2,400 mat and labor. Change it to $2,600 if the day is a weekend. Put Jester Climate and (512) 297-7493 on the line so the owner knows who the sub is.
Keep quoted extras on their own lines. The $2,400 line stays clean. Call (512) 297-7493 to set up repeat scheduling.
Deposit and balance
Send $400 to hold materials and the calendar slot. Pay the rest when the job is done.
If the walk turns up non standard work, that work is quoted before any work begins. The $2,400 or $2,600 figure does not absorb it.
What the site walk confirms
Line set length, circuit size, drain routing, penetration location, and equipment size are confirmed at the site walk. Do not take a number off a floor plan and treat it as final.
Sizing is a rule of thumb confirmed on site. A casita reads smaller than it loads. West glass and a hot attic push the size up. The size gets confirmed on site.
Date, changes, walkthrough
Call (512) 297-7493 and name the day you want. Confirmation comes back. A change on our side is communicated to you.
Walk the finished room with your client against the scope that was priced. Quoted extras sit on their own line so nothing new appears at walkthrough. If a path or circuit is not what the walk recorded, stop and quote it. Do not eat a change in front of the owner.

- Interconnect and drainLine set, control wiring, and condensate follow the path confirmed at the site walk. The penetration is sealed.
- Electrical and startPower lands on the circuit confirmed at the site walk. The system is started and run through a function check.
- GC reviewGC compares installed work to the priced scope. Pay the remaining balance at that point.
Phases run in this order on a standard job. Site conditions change the pace, so nothing here is a timeline commitment. If something on site is different from the walk, you get told before it turns into cost.
$400 materials deposit books the date and buys the equipment for your job. Balance due on completion, on the visit the system runs.
$2,400 weekday. $2,600 Saturday or Sunday. One Joker day each week is priced under the weekday rate. The day moves week to week and it is shown on the home page, so if your schedule has slack you can aim at it.
Non standard work is quoted before any work begins. Nothing gets added to the number without you approving it first.
Running the same install across more than one project? Call (512) 297-7493 to set up repeat scheduling.
- Can I write $2,400 before a site walk?
- Write $2,400 if you are bidding a standard single zone on a weekday. Write $2,600 for Saturday or Sunday. If the addition already looks non standard, get that piece quoted before you submit the bid. Call (512) 297-7493.
- What is Joker Day?
- One day each week is priced lower than the weekday rate. The day moves week to week. It is revealed on the home page. Use $2,400 or $2,600 when the bid is due; do not bank on Joker Day in the estimate.
- Who is responsible for the permit?
- Jester Climate does not pull permits. Requirements vary by jurisdiction. We are not a permitting authority. Confirming that is on the owner or the general contractor.
- How do I book a date?
- Call (512) 297-7493 with the day you want on the calendar. Deposit is $400. You will hear back with a confirmation, and you will hear if that date moves.
- The existing system never reached this room. Is the price still $2,400?
- If it is a standard single zone, the weekday number is $2,400 and the weekend number is $2,600. The fact that the old system missed the room does not change the rate. What changes the rate is non standard work, and that is quoted before any work begins.
