The number that goes in the bid
Plug $2,400 into a weekday bid for one zone. Materials and labor sit in that number. Weekend work uses $2,600.
One JOKER DAY each week is priced lower than the weekday rate. Which day it lands on changes week to week. It is revealed on the home page.
- $2,400 weekday, standard single zone, materials and labor
- $2,600 weekend, standard single zone, materials and labor
- JOKER DAY priced lower than weekday; see home page
- $400 materials deposit to book
Confirmed at the site walk
Do not bid equipment size off a floor plan alone. A casita reads smaller than it loads. West glass and a hot attic push the size up. The size gets confirmed on site.
Line set length, circuit size, drain routing, penetration location, and equipment size are confirmed at the site walk. The phone call does not lock those items. If any of them is non standard, it is quoted before work begins.
Permits stay with the GC
Jester Climate is not a permitting authority. Permit rules change by city and county along the I-35 corridor. Do not write permit pulling into this subcontract.
The owner or the general contractor confirms what the jurisdiction wants. Inspection scheduling is the GC item. The install crew works the mechanical scope only.
Picking the date
You pick the date. It gets confirmed. If anything changes, you get told.
Call (512) 297-7493 to name the date. Service area is Austin and the I-35 corridor. Weekend dates use the weekend number.
Jobsite condition before arrival
Leave the indoor wall open and reachable. Leave the outdoor location clear. Other trades should not be stacked in those two spots.
Have a point of contact on site or on the phone. Mark preferred locations if you care which wall is used. Unmarked locations are set at the site walk.
How the work is booked
Booking runs through (512) 297-7493. Name weekday or weekend. Name the job address in Austin or the I-35 corridor.
The $400 materials deposit is due to book. Balance is due on completion. Keep non standard items off the flat number until they are quoted.

Phases run in this order on a standard job. Site conditions change the pace, so nothing here is a timeline commitment. If something on site is different from the walk, you get told before it turns into cost.
$400 materials deposit books the date and buys the equipment for your job. Balance due on completion, on the visit the system runs.
$2,400 weekday. $2,600 Saturday or Sunday. One Joker day each week is priced under the weekday rate. The day moves week to week and it is shown on the home page, so if your schedule has slack you can aim at it.
Non standard work is quoted before any work begins. Nothing gets added to the number without you approving it first.
Running the same install across more than one project? Call (512) 297-7493 to set up repeat scheduling.
- Can I put $2,400 on the estimate today?
- Yes, for a weekday standard single zone, materials and labor. Use $2,600 when the work falls on a weekend. Quote extras before the crew arrives.
- Is the permit inside the $2,400?
- Permit filing is outside this scope. The owner or GC handles the jurisdiction. Do not assign that task to the install crew.
- Do you size from the plan I send?
- No. Size is a rule of thumb until the site walk. A plan does not lock the unit. The walk sets the equipment size.
- Who does the crew call on site?
- Give a point of contact who can answer location questions. Put that name on the booking call to (512) 297-7493. The crew uses that person if the wall or pad needs a decision.
- How do I set up repeat scheduling?
- Call (512) 297-7493 to set up repeat scheduling. Use the standard single zone numbers on each new estimate. Weekday remains $2,400; weekend remains $2,600.
