What The Electrician Leaves Ready
Your electrician finishes before the install crew is on site. Leave a dedicated circuit, a disconnect near the outdoor unit location, and whip and conduit. Circuit size and disconnect placement are confirmed at the site walk.
Mark the outdoor location so the electrician is not landing the disconnect on the wrong wall. The installer terminates at what is already there. Electrical that is not left ready is non standard and is quoted before any work begins.

The Dedicated Circuit
Do not share the circuit with lighting or receptacles. The mini split needs its own circuit left in place. Size is confirmed at the site walk.
Land it at the outdoor disconnect, not at the indoor head. Interior panel work stays with the electrician. If the circuit is missing on arrival, that scope is quoted before any work begins and you pick a new date that gets confirmed.

Whip, Conduit, Penetration
Whip and conduit come from the electrician, not from the install crew. They run from the disconnect to the outdoor unit location. Missing whip or conduit is quoted before any work begins.
Penetration location is confirmed at the site walk. It wants to be on the indoor wall that faces the outdoor unit, clear of plumbing stacks and existing equipment. Do not cut the hole before the walk.
The Coordination Call
Get the GC, the electrician and the installer on one call. That call covers circuit landing, disconnect placement, whip and conduit, and where the penetration wants to be. It also covers access and who holds keys the day you pick.
You pick the date. It gets confirmed. If anything changes you get told. Bring the panel schedule to the call so circuit landing is not a field guess.
Weekday Rate, Weekend, Joker Day
Standard single zone mini split installation is $2,400 on weekdays, materials and labor. The weekend figure is $2,600. One Joker Day each week is priced lower than the weekday rate.
Which day it lands on changes week to week and is revealed on the home page. Non standard work is quoted before any work begins. Service area is Austin and the I-35 corridor.
One Line Item Across Units
Property managers bid one line item and make one call. Keep the line item identical across units: standard single zone mini split, materials and labor. Anything off that scope is quoted before any work begins.
Sizing is a rule of thumb confirmed on site. A bedroom reads smaller than it loads; west glass and a hot attic push the size up. Drain routing and equipment size are confirmed at the site walk.
