Price, deposit, and joker day
Standard single zone mini split installation is $2,400 on weekdays, materials and labor. Weekend work is $2,600. A $400 materials deposit books the job. Balance is due on completion.
One joker day each week is priced lower than the weekday rate. Which day it lands on changes week to week. The day is posted on the home page.
What the site walk confirms
Line set length, circuit size, drain routing, penetration location and equipment size are confirmed at the site walk. Those items are not preset in this scope. If the walk changes the work, it is non standard.
Sizing is a rule of thumb confirmed on site. A casita reads smaller than it loads. West glass and a hot attic push the size up.
Permits are not in this scope
Jester Climate does not pull permits. Requirements vary by jurisdiction. Confirming that is on the owner or the general contractor.
Do not carry permit pulling under this line item. Keep permits on the owner or GC. The $2,400 weekday number is materials and labor for a standard single zone install only.
What the site has to look like
The unit is vacant, unlocked, and has power at the panel. Parking and a clear path to the indoor and outdoor locations are in place. The wall for the indoor head is accessible.
Furniture, stored materials, and finish trades need to be out of the way of the penetration. Call (512) 297-7493 if the site will not be in that condition on the date you picked.
Scheduling and repeat turns
Name the install date when you call (512) 297-7493. That date is confirmed or you are told it cannot be used. You are told if it later moves.
Service area is Austin and the I-35 corridor. For repeat work, call (512) 297-7493 to set up repeat scheduling.
Who owns what on the job
Jester Climate furnishes and installs the standard single zone mini split. The builder or property manager owns access, existing circuit condition, and permit confirmation. Circuit size is confirmed at the site walk.
New circuits, panel changes, drywall patch, paint, and line concealment are non standard. Non standard work is quoted before any work begins. Do not assume those items sit inside the $2,400 weekday number.

$2,400 weekday. $2,600 Saturday or Sunday. One Joker day each week is priced under the weekday rate. The day moves week to week and it is shown on the home page, so if your schedule has slack you can aim at it.
Non standard work is quoted before any work begins. Nothing gets added to the number without you approving it first.
Running the same install across more than one project? Call (512) 297-7493 to set up repeat scheduling.
- Can I plug $2,400 into a bid today?
- Yes, for a standard single zone mini split install on a weekday, materials and labor. Use $2,600 if the work falls on a weekend. Anything outside standard is quoted before the crew starts. Service area is Austin and the I-35 corridor.
- Who pulls the permit?
- Not this sub. Permit rules sit with the city or county. The owner or general contractor confirms what is required and pulls what is required. Do not put permit pulling on the Jester Climate line.
- What if the existing circuit will not serve the equipment?
- Circuit size is confirmed at the site walk, before the install date. If the existing circuit will not serve the equipment, that work is non standard. It is quoted before any work begins.
- How do I run this across multiple unit turns?
- Call (512) 297-7493 to set up repeat scheduling. Use the same weekday or weekend number on each bid. Non standard work on a given unit is still quoted before work begins on that unit.
- Is patch and paint in the $2,400?
- No. Drywall patch, paint, and other finish repair are non standard. They are quoted before any work begins. Keep finish repair on the builder side unless you asked for a quote.
