The Number That Goes in the Bid
Standard single zone mini split installation is $2,400 on weekdays, materials and labor. Weekend work is $2,600. One JOKER DAY each week is priced lower than the weekday rate.
Which day it lands on changes week to week and is revealed on the home page. A $400 materials deposit books the date. Balance is due on completion.
What Standard Covers
The $2,400 weekday figure is one indoor unit and one outdoor unit, installed as a standard single zone mini split. Materials and labor sit in that figure when the site walk calls the job standard. Startup is included.
Line set routing, drain routing, penetration location, circuit, and equipment size are confirmed at the site walk. If the walk calls the job standard, the number does not move. If it does not, the extra is quoted first.
Extra Work Gets a Quote First
If the walk finds work outside standard, you get a quote first. Work on that extra does not begin until you accept. The standard line item stays $2,400 on weekdays or $2,600 on weekends.
Common triggers are extra heads, electrical work beyond the connection confirmed at the site walk, a pump drain, and an outdoor structure that is not already in place. The walk names the trigger. The quote comes before tools come out.
Permits, Power, and Who Owns What
Jester Climate does not pull permits. Permit requirements vary by jurisdiction. Confirming what the city or county wants is on the owner or the general contractor.
Circuit size is confirmed at the site walk. Do not write a voltage or a breaker size into the subcontract. If the walk finds electrical work outside a standard connection, that work is extra and waits on a quote.

What the Jobsite Has to Look Like
Leave the indoor location open and reachable. Leave the outdoor location clear, pad or wall already in place. Power live at the disconnect location confirmed at the site walk.
Framing and blocking at the penetration location are your trade. If the site is not ready, call (512) 297-7493 before the crew rolls. Locations were set at the walk; moving them on install day is extra work.
Scheduling and Repeat Houses
You pick the date. It gets confirmed. If anything changes, you get told.
Service area is Austin and the I-35 corridor. Keep the line item identical on every house that stays standard. Weekend work uses $2,600 instead of $2,400.
