Floors are concrete. Where people lift, you find rubber stall mats, horse tiles, or a strip of flooring under the rack and bench. Placement matters more than most people think. The indoor head should not blow straight onto a bench where you are under a bar. Can a mini split work in a Circle C Ranch garage that is not insulated?
We install them in unfinished and lightly insulated garages all the time. Insulation helps a room hold a setpoint, but the unit still moves heat out of the air you train in. Where does the outdoor unit go on a typical house here?
On most attached garages we look for a side wall or a pad at the back corner, away from the street and away from bedroom windows when we can. The unit needs airflow and a short line set path through the garage wall. We will not hide it in a spot that starves it of air. You walk that placement with us before anything is mounted.
Will the indoor unit get in the way of a rack or pull-up bar?

How long is the garage out of use while you work?
We need the bay clear enough to drill, mount, and pull line set. Mats can often stay down if they are not under the wall we open. You will not be training in that stall while we are in it.
